Peer Observation

Noof Observation - Grade 4

Teacher Noof started the period by letting the students line up outside the class after that she let them go inside the class and each student sat in her group. Teacher Noof she told them about the place of the classroom rules and the reward system which is using green, yellow, and red faces. Teacher Noof asked the students about the name of the unit, then she showed them a picture and she discussed with the students about it and when they answered she gave then feedback about their answer. Then she let the students to focus in the listening so they can answer the questions in the book, when the students did not understand she explained again for them so they could write the answer they get from the listening. Teacher Noof had a good classroom management as the students were focused and they were well behaved in the class, but some students still had some difficulties in doing the listening exercise and teacher Noof had to repeat the listening for them to answer the question. After that she told the students to discuss their answers in group and while they were discussing she was going around the class to observe the students. The activities they did in book contain the three skills which is listening, reading, and writing, as the students will have to read the question and the sentences in the book, also they will have to listen to the recorder, and when the find the answers they will have to write it. teachers Noof made sure that they understood the activity by using the projector to check the answers with them. Then she used the flashcards to teach them the vocabulary as they can see the picture and link it with words to make them understand the vocabulary more.
