Marking exams
During the teaching practice, I helped my MST in marking the speaking test, mid-term and the final exam papers. In which I had to mark the reading and the writing section which means the whole paper. Marking the papers gave the experience of how a teacher can evaluate the students writing skills from the use of vocabulary, grammar, and the handwriting. I have chosen it as an achievement because I am really proud of myself as my MST trusted me with the marking and she made mark most of the papers. Moreover, I think that I gained experience and knowledge in evaluating the students writing.

Communication skills workshop
I did a communication skills workshop for the students at the beginning of the term. I gave tips to the students about how they can communicate with other. During the workshop, I told them that when they interact with each other, they show respect, use the right language, use their body language and their voice tone. After the workshop, I notice that most of the students started to apply what they had learned in the workshop. Moreover, I used the microphone to get the students motivated and interested in the workshop I used it to model the communication skills for the students. Then, I picked some students to model for them friends as they can understand better from their classmates.

When I tested, the students speaking skills I noticed that most of them had improved their communication skills and they did experience themselves using the vocabulary related to the context.

Volunteering
in this semester, I did some volunteering work to support myself in getting more experience in organizing and assessing people in different events and situations. In this semester I attended an essential certificate training to get more information about the benefit of volunteering it will give as experience to be able to to get jobs in the future. Also, I attended the special needs spring festival, and I assessed special need teachers in supporting the special needs students in doing some activities at the spring festival in Higher Colleges of Technology.

In which I have three certificates for completing my teaching practice in different schools. Also, I have a certificate for academic excellence that was given to me in year three semester 6.

Education conference
We had an education conference at HCT-Ras al Khaimah. This conference discusses the 21st-century skills and how it’s important for the country, teachers, and students. Also, attended a breakout session, in which some students talked about their research topic and how they had implemented their research during the teaching practice. Moreover, we had presented and talked about our research poster with other students to share our experience with other.
